Sexual Crimes Against Children – Nine Felony Counts
The longtime teacher founded the school’s broadcasting club. The room that was used did not have windows and was soundproof, which is why Wilson chose this location to commit the crimes against the children. The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office reported that Wilson was charged with nine felony counts of committing lewd acts upon a child, to which he plead guilty.
The Twin Rivers School District has yet to respond to a request for comment on the case and its former employee. It has been alleged that the school district knew, or should have known, about the abuse that was happening to their students, and they failed in their duty to keep their students safe. If this is true, then the Twin Rivers School District could be liable for paying victims’ damages.
