Richard Feliciano Romero Arrested on Multiple Charges of Child Sexual Abuse

Richard Feliciano Romero, Riverside County  campus supervising officer arrested on multiple child sexual abuse charges. Recently, a report of inappropriate contact between a school official Richard Feliciano Romero and a student was given to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Department (MVSD). Deputies went to the school located in the 23000 block of Cougar Canyon Road in Moreno Valley. After assessing the incident, the MVSD contacted the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office-Special Victims Unit to conduct the investigation. Richard Feliciano Romero, 51, of Perris, was identified as the suspect.​

Multiple Child Sexual Abuse Charges Against Richard Feliciano Romero

​The Special Victims Unit, with the help of the Perris Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team, served Romero with a warrant at his residence. While there, Romero was taken into custody and then to the Cois Byrd Detention Center, where he was booked on multiple child sexual abuse charges.​

Some of the crimes that Romero was charged with include:​

• Sodomy by force
• Solicitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Richard Feliciano Romero is currently out on bail. Investigators have indicated that this is an ongoing investigation and that there may be many more victims.
