Former director of operations at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, Todd Baldwin, was arrested for soliciting explicit videos from students at the high school. Soliciting Explicit Videos From Students – The Minor Victims of Todd Baldwin
According to victim accounts, Baldwin approached young boys with a proposal to make money by soliciting explicit videos from students. He told the boys that he could sell child pornography on Reddit and would then split the proceeds with the boys.
Baldwin went as far as buying a ring light to enhance the production of the videos, and he also gave the boys underwear to use in the videos. He then sold the soiled underwear to online child predators. The boys were paid a total of $6,315 for the explicit materials that Baldwin sold.
When Baldin was interviewed by police, he confessed to receiving the videos. He also said that he sold them online and that he didn’t just work with the two victims that the police knew about. According to Baldwin, there were others. The police uncovered an electronic device that seems to confirm this, and so the police believe there are several more victims. As a result, the police are asking the community for assistance with the case.
